In a series of six sessions, Sean Cain, The author of The Fundamental 5, will present the critical tools and practices needed to create a self-sustaining instructional machine. His presentations focus on the infrastructure components (Common Scope and Sequence, Short-Term Common Assessments; Formative Classroom Observation) and practices (Teacher Craft, Data Analysis and Adjustment, Leadership and Coaching) that increase teacher effectiveness and student academic achievement.
The purpose of The Fundamental 5 sessions presented by Sean Cain are to teach participants the importance of and steps for:
Framing a lesson
Closing a lesson
Teaching in the Power Zone
Recognition and Reinforcement
Frequent Small Group Purposeful Talk
